How To Guide
Decal Application
Each decal has a paper backing on one side, and clear transfer tape on the other. When applying, you will be removing the paper backing (wanting the decal to remain stuck to the transfer tape) as you follow and press, smoothing out air bubbles along the way. Don't worry, the transfer tape will be removed after you place your decal.
- Before application, ensure that the surface is clean and dry.
- Best surfaces for decal application are smooth and nonporous. Examples include car windows, glass, mirrors, metal, water bottles, plastic surfaces, sealed wood and more. Surfaces like silicone, leather, brick or rock, and unfinished wood are not recommended.
- Before peeling: Lay the decal on a flat surface and rub the transfer tape firmly with a squeegee or credit card. This ensures the vinyl sticks to the tape rather than the backing.
- Peel: Slowly peel the paper backing away from the clear transfer tape. For larger decals or when concerned about alignment, it is recommended to work outward from the center. If the vinyl sticks to the backing, lay it back down and repeat the previous step again. When peeling, try the sharpen the angle.
- Press: Starting from the center and working outward, use a squeegee or to press the decal firmly onto the surface, removing any air bubbles. Using a credit card or even your finger is also acceptable although not ideal. Avoid scratching the decal when pressing with a credit card, and be patient to avoid air bubbles when using your finger.
- Remove Transer Tape: Carefully peel the clear transfer tape away at a sharp angle (45 degrees). If the vinyl lifts, press it back down and rub again.
Sticker Application
- Before application, ensure that the surface is clean and dry.
- You've got this.
UV Sticker Application
Each UV Sticker has a paper backing on one side, and clear transfer tape on the other. When applying, you will be removing the paper backing. The sticker will remain on the clear transfer tape. After placement, remove the transfer tape to reveal the UV Sticker on your desired item.
UV Sticker Care
UV stickers are strong & durable. They're great for mugs, water bottles, and especially bear canisters. They are waterproof, UV resistant, and strongly adhesive. When cleaning your bottles, avoid the dishwasher. Hand-wash only. If they slip in by accident, they might survive, but dishwashers are not recommended to ensure longevity.
Baby Onesies
Ideally, your baby will grow out of this onesie long before the vinyl gives out, but between babies and washing machines, we have our work cut out for us.
Please turn your onesies inside-out and wash on a gentle cycle.
Diaper Cake Deconstruction
While diaper cakes are fun to enjoy, at some point, sh*t happens and you will need those diapers, and fast! Each layer is loaded with diapers, all bound by bands individually and to each other. It's a lot of work to make these babies!
For immediate disasters:
- Lift the top layer of your cake.
- Aquire the tiny scissors hanging below.
- Snip ONLY the rubber bands and none of your goodies!
- Start from the top layer. If you have multiple diaper sizes, the larger sizes are closer to the base.
- Unroll that diaper and respond to that disaster!
